Drs.
George and Hazel Hill are the apostolic leaders of Victory Churches
International. They planted
their first church in Lethbridge, Canada on May 13, 1979. Over the next
ten years they were involved in planting many other churches in Canada,
which led to the official establishing of Victory Churches of Canada. In
1997 Victory Churches International (VCI) was officially established in
accordance with their global vision to see churches planted in nations
around the world. Victory Churches are known for their lively worship, activities directed at reaching out to the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as a positive spirit of faith and a desire to be led by the Holy Spirit at all times. Since March 1989 more than 200 churches, Bible schools, orphanages, and Christian schools have been established as well as a radio and television ministry.
Our
local church in Jelenia Gora identifies with this vision and closely
works together with VCI. We have been registered as a church in Poland with The Church
of God in Christ since July 2000. There
are presently 31 congregations in Poland registered with the Church of
God in Christ overseen by Andrzej Nędzusiak.
